On 12th October 2024 the Rock choir and Bulgarian Dance troop Samodeitsi took to Guildford High Street to raise awareness of the Real Change Guildford Initiative.

We raised a whopping Ā£723.60 across the day- thank you to all who donated and came to talk to us!

Real Change raises funds from businesses and the community to support people in their local area experiencing homelessness. It uses funds generated to pay for items which directly help people to move away from the streets or avoid homelessness: like a deposit for a home, a training course, or clothes for a job interview. Working in partnership with local charities and partners, it ensures that no one stays or becomes homeless due to a simple lack of cash.

The Rock Choir sung a variety of songs including classics such as I'll Be There, Sweet Child Of Mine, A Thousand Years, Somewhere Only We Know and gathered a large crowd. The Bulgarian Dance Troop Samodeitsi drew a large crowd, amazing people with their authentic Bulgarian dance numbers and their stunning outfits.

Thanks to all the people who performed and once again to those who donated and came to talk to us about Real Change Guildford.
