Guildford Castle Grounds and Stoke Park awarded the coveted Green Flag Award
We're celebrating a Green Flag Award for the Guildford Castle Grounds and Stoke Park. These two green spaces have been officially recognised as among the country's best parks. They have achieved the international quality mark for parks and green spaces in 2024.
What is the Green Flag Award Scheme? The Green Flag Award scheme recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green spaces. Environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy manages the scheme.
Why is this important to us? It is evidence of the hard work and dedication of our parks team which cares for these green spaces.
