G Live are excited to announce the appointment of Christina Horsepool as their new Venue Director.
Christina joins G live after nine years at Trafalgar Theatre in London’s West End, where she started in administration before working upwards to become General Manager in 2022. Her move to G live marks an exciting new chapter in her career. With the opportunity to learn a different style of venue, Christina is eager to bring her experience to G Live, excited by the potential to develop the venue further and explore new ways to engage with and serve the local community.
‘The team here at G Live are so passionate and dedicated to this venue and its community, I’m really excited to be a part of it and work together to find innovative ways to further establish G Live as the go-to venue for exceptional entertainment.’ G Live has established itself as one of South East’s leading live entertainment venues, receiving multiple accolades and awards including Surrey’s Best Live Entertainment and Best Bar None.
The venue’s comfortable auditorium seats up to 1031 audience members with the option for flat floor standing and dining events. The venue also boasts a 100 seat studio space, seminar and private function rooms as well as a daytime café open 10.30am – 4pm Monday to Saturday. Their eclectic programme features a wide array of top-quality music, comedy, dance, drama, family shows, and one-night events including Jimmy Carr, Dawn French, Tim Minchin, and Diversity as well as touring productions, including; The Rocky Horror Show, Lord of the Dance and Strictly Ballroom. As a venue, they also provide a variety of arts outreach projects – from half-term workshops to monthly cinema clubs and summer youth projects through their charitable provision.
