The Yvonne Arnaud is a regional theatre and registered charity, presenting and producing vibrant, excellent drama for the people of Guildford, Surrey and beyond. With a thriving studio space and Creating Learning programme, the Yvonne Arnaud is a culture hub and an artistic resource: a local theatre with a national reach.
The nearly 600-seat Main Stage auditorium offers a varied programme including drama, comedy, West End classics, children’s shows and Guildford’s annual Christmas family pantomime. The smaller stage in the Mill Studio offers fantastic small-scale work from established and emerging artists, and an annual art exhibition.
A Grade 2 listed building, the theatre also has a range of attractive rooms and spaces in central Guildford, available for hire for anything from business meetings to birthday parties. The Yvonne Arnaud has its own café overlooking the River Wey, with an outside riverside terrace too! The café is open for delicious fresh, homemade dishes and snacks during the day (Tue-Sat, 10am to 3.30pm) and pre-show (from 5.30pm).
