The King’s Head is Guildford’s oldest and most haunted pub. Constructed in the late 1500s it was built in the traditional manner using timber beams. Located in the historic Saxon market town of Guildford it is situated next to the Castle, in the town’s conservation area. In 1972 the pub was granted a Grade ll listing reflecting its status as one of the oldest buildings in Guildford.
Today the King’s Head continues to be a lively town centre pub offering great home-cooked food, a diverse range of drinks including six real ales, outside seating and a happy warm welcome.
