Shooting Star Children’s Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families across Surrey and London.

Thanks to medical advances children with life-limiting conditions are living longer and the help they need is increasingly complex. We help families make every moment count by supporting them from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement. We run two hospices, Christopher’s which is based just to the south of Guildford and is the only Children’s Hospice in Surrey, and Shooting Star House in Hampton. We also run a hospice at home service which makes over 2,500 home visits a year.

Our charity shops play a vital role in helping to fund our care service. Pop in to pick up a fabulous find from our huge range of pre-loved high-quality items and don’t forget us when you have a clear out, even rags raise money! Or if you have some free time, we are always looking for volunteers to help run our shops or support events like our Sunrise Walk.
