We are currently looking to recruit a part-time StockroomSupervisor (24 hours per week) to support our Retail Team, based at our flagship store in Guildford, Surrey.

Reporting directly to Store Manager, the StockroomSupervisor is responsible for assisting in the organisation and execution ofthe general daily activities of the store, ensuring the team delivers anenhanced retail experience for OKA customers through the provision ofoutstanding customer service, product knowledge and enthusiasm for beautifulinteriors.

The Stockroom Supervisor is responsible for allmaintenance requirements for the store, including H&S compliance, stockroomand showroom floor standards, including stock integrity, replenishment andfulfilment and for tracking sales orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operational:

  • Assist the team with unloading, unpackingand pricing of deliveries. Click & Collect, stock takes and seasonalchanges.
  • Stockroom organisation andappearance, ensuring staff support to maintain order and tidiness at all times.
  • Stock management processes,housekeeping and cycle counts to support maintain inventory levels in store.
  • Working with Store Management and Merchandising to reviewstock minimums and maximum levels to ensure adequate stock levels to supportdisplay and sales.
  • Support stock recalls of stock forthe wider business.
  • Management of faulty or un ticketedstock.
  • Picking stock for shop floorreplenishment and maintaining commercial bays.
  • Providing feedback on any stockrelated issues that arise in store Product:
  • Assist with end of sale packing and returning of stock toWarehouse in accordance with operational standards.
  • Assist on shop floor with customer greeting, queries,sales and housekeeping.
  • Proactive member of the shop floor team.

ABOUT YOU

Previous retail experience, ideallywithin the furniture or homeware sectors

  • Passion for providing best-in-classcustomer service and building lasting customer relationships
  • Ability to lift and move heavyfurniture
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good eye for detail
  • Knowledge of the furniture/home furnishings market preferred
  • Flexible approach to working hours as the sector demands
  • Tenacious, hardworking and reliable
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the business
  • Actively seeks continuous personal and team improvementswithin in the work environment.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-moving business, taking on newchallenges and responsibilities
  • Enthusiasm for driving sustainable improvements throughoutthe operation
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail withproficiency in all Microsoft tools
  • A creative, problem-solving spirit
