Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate customer-focused Barista /Coffee Shop Assistant to work with the day to day running of our cafe ensure the smooth operation of our coffee shop. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, a background in food preparation, and a flair for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. As the Coffee Shop Assistant you will oversee **operations, and maintain high standards of service and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high quality coffee and other Drinks,
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service
- Take orders, handle payments and manage the till
- support with basic food preparation and culinary tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Ordering supplies, and maintaining stock control.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including kitchen areas. Contribute to creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Passion for coffee and customer service
- Previous experience in a Barista within the service industry
- Ability to work in a fas-paced environment
- friendly reliable and enthusiastic personality
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee culture and culinary arts is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: From £15,820.80 per year Expected hours: 24 per week
