Gentle Yoga is a softer style of Hatha yoga practice, where poses are held for between 3 – 5 breaths. Performed at a slower mindful pace, with less intense positions, there is extended time for meditation, breathwork and relaxation.
Classes will include a range of yoga poses – standing, seated (on the floor), supine, balancing – and some inverted postures.
These classes are suitable for those with some yoga experience and who wish to develop their yoga practice.
Please bring your own mat, plus any yoga props (blocks, bricks, straps, blankets) and some water. Wear comfortable breathable layers and non-slips socks or bare feet.
Please notify the tutor of any health conditions that may impact your yoga practice. Modifications will be offered where appropriate.
