What does courage mean to you? Is it something we are born with, or is it something we can nurture? Courage was one of the four cardinal virtues for the ancient Stoics, and its cultivation was an essential part of the Stoic path.
In this day course we will contemplate, through group discussion and guided meditation, our understanding of courage. We will consider what it meant to the ancient Stoics, and then we will explore ways in which we can cultivate it for modern living.
There will be a 1-hour break for lunch.
